This graphic piece explores my own experiences and confusion with gender. There is no single narrative of being trans or gender non-conforming, and this piece should not be used to define any one else’s journey. I am white, I have grown up in Melbourne, and my family is supportive. These factors all contribute to my experience.
This was written on, and based in, Naarm (Melbourne). I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, and pay respect to Elders past and present. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
